LightHouse Writers Workshop: TBA

Lighthouse Writers Workshops presents "September Writer's Buzz: Making It
Happen," a reading and talk with novelist Sarah Ockler, on Saturday,
September 11, at 7:00 p.m., at EventGallery 910Arts, at 910 Santa Fe Drive
in Denver. The event is free and open to the public.

Sarah Ockler is the author of young adult books including the upcoming
Fixing Delilah and the critically acclaimed Twenty Boy Summer, a YALSA
Teens' Top Ten nominee, an IndieNext Kids List pick, and a New Atlantic
Independent Booksellers Association Book Award early nominee.

Sarah used to tell people that she writes books for teens. "But, I know
plenty of non-teens who love reading young adult, too," she says. "I guess
it's because we're all still kind of recovering from high school, right?"

Lighthouse Writers Workshop is an independent creative writing program in
Denver, founded and operated by working writers and university-level
teachers of writing. The faculty have won many prestigious awards, including
Stegner Fellowships, the Rome Prize, Pushcart Prize, and the Colorado Book
